Challenge
BTB being a short three-letter name, the main challenge was to design a logo that feels distinctive and memorable while maintaining simplicity. The goal was to create a strong streetwear identity without overcomplicating the design.
Another challenge was ensuring versatility — the logo needed to work seamlessly across apparel, tags, packaging, and digital platforms. It had to retain clarity at both small and large scales while still carrying a bold visual presence.
Balancing minimalism with personality was key, as the design had to reflect urban culture, confidence, and individuality without relying on heavy graphics.
Approach
- Explored multiple typographic directions including monograms, mirrored layouts, and interlocking letterforms
- Focused on geometric balance and spacing to create a compact and strong structure
- Designed a custom lettermark to give uniqueness while keeping readability intact
- Tested the logo across real-world mockups like apparel and social media assets
- Developed multiple variations (primary, stacked, icon) for flexible usage
- Maintained a minimal black-and-white base to ensure timelessness and adaptability
